Description
: Ultraman: Rising is a 2024 animated superhero film based on Tsuburaya Productions’ Ultraman franchise. In this movie, Ken Sato, a superstar baseball player, returns to Japan to become the latest hero to carry the mantle of Ultraman. However, his plans take an unexpected turn when he is compelled to raise a newborn kaiju monster-the offspring of his greatest enemy-as his own child. Alongside dealing with his relationship with his estranged father, Sato must also navigate the schemes of the Kaiju Defense Force. The film is directed by Shannon Tindle and John Aoshima, and it features animation by Industrial Light & Magic.
